Atlassian Price Changes 2025 Announcement

On Tuesday, January 14, 2025, Atlassian announced a price increase for its Atlassian Data Center products, which will go into effect on February 11, 2025. We understand the impact this may have, please count on us to review with you what this change implies, we are willing to advise you in this process.

Important changes for February 11, 2025:

  • The Data Center price increase will go into effect.
  • Changes to Data Center user ranges will go into effect.
  • Multi-year renewals for Data Center will be disabled.
 




Which products will be affected and how will prices increase?

This applies to the following data center products:

  • Jira Software (*): All user ranges
    • 0 – 1000 users: 15%.
    • 1001 – 5000 users: 20%.
    • 5001+ users: 25%
  • Confluence (*): All user ranges
    • 0 – 1000 users: 15% 
    • 1001 – 5000 users: 20%
    • 5001+ users: 25% 
  • Jira Service Management (*): All user ranges
    • 0 – 1000 agents: 15%
    • 1001 – 5000 agents: 20%
    • 5001+ agents: 25%.
 

*Note: The percentage increase will depend on each product, the range of users, and the date the licenses were first purchased. Contact us to confirm the price increase that applies to you.

 

What changes have been made to the Data Center user ranges?

This information is relevant for the following Data Center products:

  • Jira Software:
    • There are new ranges from 60,000 to 150,000 users (increments every 1,000 users).
    • There is an unlimited range for 150,001 users and above.
  • Confluence:
    • New ranks from 45,000 to 150,000 users (increments every 1,000 users)
    • Unlimited range from 150,001 users and above.
  • Jira Service Management:
    • New ranges from 15,000 to 20,000 agents (increments every 1,000 agents)
    • Unlimited range from 20,001 agents and above.
 
What other changes are being implemented?

For Atlassian Data Center product renewals, only annual contracts are now available. Multi-year renewals will no longer be available as of February 11, 2025.

If you have products with renewals in the next 3 months in data center

  • Renew as soon as possible to take advantage of the current prices before they change, bearing in mind that you must request the quote from bit2bit Americas by Monday 3rd February 2025 at the latest.

 

If you are planning to upgrade or downgrade your users in the next few months

  • You must request a quote from bit2bit Americas by Monday 3rd February 2025 and have a purchase order to confirm the purchase by 5th March 2025.

 

If you are planning to purchase new data center products in the next few months

  • Request a quote from bit2bit Americas by Monday 3rd February 2025 and place a purchase order to confirm the purchase by 5th March 2025.

 

If your renewal is next year or you are planning to purchase new data center products next year

  • We will schedule a call to discuss the impact of the price increase with you.
